An Electric Radient Heater Is Efficient
Electric radient heaters are an efficient and space saving way to heat a room. These heaters neatly tuck into a cutout in a wall and provide radiant heat in an efficient manner.
This allows for a room to be heated without losing precious floor space that could be used by other areas.
Electric radient heaters produce heat in the space between the wall and the vented front of the heater. These heaters use electricity for creating power and generating heat rather than alternative heating methods such as propane or oil.
Electricity is a better conductor of heat and is odorless. Oil and gas are less efficient and level the area they are heating with an odor that can be similar to that of rotten eggs.
Electricity utilizes 100% of the electricity used to operate the heater. This means that all of the electricity that is conducted in the operation of an electric heater is used to generate the heater distributed by the heater. Liquid fuel only uses 80% or less of the fuel that is burnt for the purpose of creating heat. This unaccounted 20% or more is waste.
Along with being more efficient electric heat is also less expensive in most cases. This means that it costs considerably less to heat with electricity than it does to heat with gas. Another benefit of electricity over gas is that it is more readily available and it does not require being stored prior to being used.
There several different styles of electric heaters that provides the same benefit of electricity. Not all of these heaters accomplish this in the same manner. One method of electric heaters is convection heating. This type of electric heater warms the air around the element and then circulates the air using convection air currents. An example of convection electric heaters is the old fashioned radiator heaters.
Electric radient heaters work in a very similar fashion to a radiator. These heaters consist of a coli element that is designed to provide fast response time. This response time eliminates the wait time that is typical of other types of heaters. These space saving efficient heaters work quickly to assure the highest amount of comfort in the minimum amount of time.
These heaters are designed for long periods of use and typically have a thermostat that monitors the temperature of the heater and shuts off periodically when the desired temperature is reached. Electric radient heaters consist of very few parts, consequently there is very little that can break down. Electric radient heaters provide long term reliable heat on an efficient and cost effective manner.
